When you use SimpleSCC ("the Service"), we collect information necessary to provide and improve our charting tools. This includes account details (name and email address) and the raw data points, chart configurations, and client names/identifiers you enter into the application.

2. Clinical Data Responsibilities & Regulatory Disclaimer (Non-HIPAA/Non-PIPEDA)

SimpleSCC acts as a data processor for the information you upload. However, please be advised that SimpleSCC is NOT currently certified as compliant with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) or PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act).

As a practitioner, you are responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance. You must only enter fully de-identified clinical metrics. Do not upload identifiable personal details like full names, dates of birth, addresses, or phone numbers. Use only initials or randomized IDs to map charts to clients. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you bear all responsibility for keeping client data de-identified.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information strictly to provide the Service. This includes visualizing and saving your Standard Celeration Charts, authenticating your account, managing your subscription billing, and occasionally contacting you regarding important updates to the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We utilize trusted third-party services to ensure the security and reliability of SimpleSCC. Specifically:

• Supabase: Provides secure database hosting and authentication services.
• Stripe: Securely processes all subscription payments. SimpleSCC does not directly store your credit card information.

5. Data Security

We take data security seriously. SimpleSCC utilizes industry-standard encryption both in transit and at rest (via our providers). However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Deletion and Your Rights

You retain the right to access, update, or delete your information at any time. If you wish to close your account and have your data permanently removed from our servers, please contact our support team.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, by sending an email notification to registered users.
